| PR | こんにちは。Hiroakiと申します。 私は宮崎国際大学の国際教養学部でリベラルアーツを英語で学んでいる大学生です。 2023年の4月から3年生になります。 今まで、社会学や生物学、数学、教育学、美術史などの科目を英語で受けてきました。 提出物や質問なども含めて全てを英語で学ぶので、常に高度で実践的な英語力を求められる環境で今まで2年間学んできました。 小さい頃からも英語がネイティブの友達に囲まれた環境にいることが多く、特に中学高校では、オーストラリアやイギリスから来た友人をホームステイに受け入れたり、私自身もオーストラリアのメルボルンにホームステイに行って英語を学ぶなどの経験がありました。 ですので英語で生徒様に何かを教える際に特に支障をきたすことはありません。 私の長所は、寛容さとどんなことでも受け入れられることです。 私は今まで10年以上バレーボールをしてきました。 どんなに練習や試合で上手く行かないことがあっても、上手くいくまで、結果が出るまでやり続けるように教えられ、それを実践してきました。 その経験から何にでも粘り強くやり続けるということを学びました。 それに、私の中学高校がよく海外の方が訪れてくるような学校で、12歳の頃から色々な文化を体験して来ました。 そこで文化の多様性の美しさに触れ、どんな文化の違いも受け入れるようになりました。 宮崎国際大学に来てからは、より多くの文化圏から来た友人や先生たちに恵まれ、今も共に講義を受けたり授業内容などについて意見を交わしています。 日本語は他の言語と違って独特な表現や言い回しが多く、難しいと感じることが多いと思います。私はこれまでの言語学習の経験から、言葉はいくら地所で意味を調べても、コンテキスト無しでは何も理解出来ないということを非常に実感しております。 そこが欠けていることが日本語学習で一番の弊害になると思います。 ですので私が生徒様に日本語を教える際は、できるだけ想像しやすいシチュエーションを例として挙げて、分かりやすく噛み砕いて教えることを常に念頭に置いていこうと考えています。 生徒様の日本語学習の一助に慣れたら幸いです。 |
| PR（英語） | I'm Hiroaki and it's my pleasure to introduce myself. I was born in Miyazaki prefecture. I am a college student studying Liberal Arts in English at Miyazaki International College. I have taken many Liberal Arts courses such as sociology, biology, cognitive psychology, photography, and art history in English for two years so far. The professors are from many different countries, for instance, the US, the UK, Australia, Canada, and Brazil. Since I have to talk with them and submit many assignments in English, I have trained my English skills a lot. Since my childhood, I have had many opportunities to spend time with native English speaking friends. When I was in junior high and high school, I hosted British and Australian friends twice. Also, I myself went to Australia (Melbourne) to have a homestay to learn English. So I hardly have problems when teaching Japanese in English. I believe my strength is tolerance and openness. Since my childhood, I've been playing volleyball for more than 10 years. Whenever I can't do well in a game and practice, I was taught to keep making efforts until I achieve a goal. So I'm tolerant to keep doing something hard. Also, I've been exposed to many different cultures since I was 12 and I accept and respect all cultural diversities because my junior high high and high school had many international contacts. In Miyazaki International College, I have a lot of great opportunities to spend time with many foreign friends and teachers. These days I frequently take classes and have discussions about many different topics with them. Unlike other languages, Japanese has many unique and difficult words and phrases. From my experiences of learning languages, I believe that no matter how much you look up the words, you cannot understand anything without context. The lack of context is one of the biggest problems which makes you feel Japanese is difficult. If I teach you Japanese, I always try to give you examples of situations that you can easily imagine to understand the exact meaning of words. I would be happy if I could help you learn Japanese.
